Northbridge Association of Churches (NAC) 

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The Northbridge Association of Churches was formed in 1978 to share our common ministry from our oneness in Jesus Christ and to foster greater understanding, appreciation and cooperation among our churches. In the intervening years, the NAC has grown in strength, number of participating churches and frequency of shared activities, worship and projects. The sole means of our financial support comes through the annual donations given by member churches, each of which is entitled to send clergy and two lay representatives to our monthly meetings.

Good cooperation between member churches and lay/clergy participants has allowed us opportunities to be together, love together, learn together and share together. We have learned to focus on that which we can do together, not what divides us, yet discuss and appreciate our differences. God has worked through this unity and enables us to provide the following:

1. Good Friday Service

2. Easter Sunrise Service

3. Easter Food Cards/Baskets

4. Baccalaureate Service for Northbridge High School

5. Ecumenical Vacation Bible School

6. Collecting new backpacks and school supplies

7. Crop Walk for Hunger

8. Hymn sing at Beaumont Nursing Home

9. Thanksgiving Eve Service

10. Thanksgiving Food Baskets

11. Christmas Food Cards/Baskets and Gifts

12. Peace of Bread Community Kitchen

13. NAC Food Pantry

14. NAC Emergency Fund

15. Management of the Manosh Scholarship

16. Collecting coats and warm clothing

17. Donations to local and worldwide service agencies

We seek to encourage all churches in Northbridge to join us in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed and in working together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
